SYNOPSIS
#include <tdb.h>

} TDB_DATA;
RETURN VALUE
If the key is found, 1 is returned; otherwise 0 is returned.

tdb - trivial database
SYNOPSIS
A database similar to gdbm which allows multiple simultaneous writers.
DESCRIPTION
This is a simple database API. It was inspired by the realisation that in Samba we have several ad-hoc bits of code that essentially imple-
ment small databases for sharing structures between parts of Samba. As I was about to add another I realised that a generic database module
was called for to replace all the ad-hoc bits.
I based the interface on gdbm. I couldn't use gdbm as we need to be able to have multiple writers to the databases at one time.

What is the point of this? Whenever I close my shell it appends to the history file without adding this. I have never seen it overwrite my history file.

Hello for all,
I am testing the behavior of a 32 bit application running on Solaris 5.10 (SPARC), and realize it reaches 4GB of memory and then crashes.
It doesn't matter the amount of used memory as application is intended to perform many transactions; rather, what I want to achieve is to... (2 Replies)
