vwprintw(3XCURSES) X/Open Curses Library Functions vwprintw(3XCURSES)

NAME
vwprintw - print formatted output in window SYNOPSIS
cc [ flag... ] file... -I /usr/xpg4/include -L /usr/xpg4/lib -R /usr/xpg4/lib -lcurses [ library... ] c89 [ flag... ] file... -lcurses [ library... ] #include <varargs.h> #include <curses.h> int vwprintw(WINDOW *win, char *fmt, va_list varglist); PARAMETERS
fmt Is a printf() format string. varglist Is a pointer to a list of parameters. win Is a pointer to the window in which the string is to be written. DESCRIPTION
The vwprintw() function achieves the same effect as wprintw(3XCURSES) using a variable argument list. The third argument is a va_list, as defined in <varargs.h>. RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, vwprintw() returns OK. Otherwise, it returns ERR. ERRORS
No errors are defined. USAGE
The vwprintw() function is deprecated; the vw_printw(3XCURSES) function is preferred. The use of the vwprintw() and vw_printw() in the same file will not work, due to the requirements to include <varargs.h> and <stdarg.h>, which both contain definitions of va_list. ATTRIBUTES
