DESCRIPTION
Open Sound System driver for Envy24HT, Envy24HT-S, Envy24PT based sound cards.
Envy24HT device characteristics:
o 8/16 bit playback/record
o mono/stereo/4ch/5.1ch/7.1ch playback
o mono/sterero recording
o 8KHz to 192Khz sample rate.
OPTIONS
o envy24ht_model = -1|0|1 Select the Model number if the card isn't autodetected Values: 0 = Envy24ht 1=Envy24PT/HT-s compatible
-1=Autodetect Default: -1

snd_envy24ht -- VIA Envy24HT and compatible bridge device driver
SYNOPSIS
To compile this driver into the kernel, place the following lines in your kernel configuration file:
device sound
device snd_envy24ht
device snd_spicds
Alternatively, to load the driver as a module at boot time, place the following line in loader.conf(5):
snd_envy24ht_load="YES"
DESCRIPTION
The snd_envy24ht bridge driver allows the generic audio driver sound(4) to attach to VIA Envy24HT (ICE1724 or VT1724 chipset) and compatible
audio devices.
