Earlier we used to move the resource groups between nodes manually. Recently I have added the HACMP startup and stop scripts.

Then I moved the resource group to see if everything works fine as per the startup and stop scripts, but it didn't work out as expected.

Do i need to do bring down the cluster in both the nodes and then do the "Verify and Synchronize HACMP Configuration" so that the startup and stop scripts will work as expected ?

Make sure start and stop scripts are the same on both nodes. Do a synchronize to make sure the HACMP configuration is the same on both nodes. If the sync brings no errors try a failover and check in hacmp.out logfile what exactly fails.

Is there an option to Verify and Synchronize HACMP online while the cluster services are running in the nodes or we need to bring down the cluster services running in the nodes and then do the "Verify and Synchronize HACMP".

Hi, No you don't have to bring RG down or cluster services in order to Verify and Synchronize cluster.
