Since Iam learning the usage of Unix scripting, can any one provide some array examples (Simple to complex)?

The rules are for every member of this forum. If you did read them, it says

A search for ksh arrays gave ksh script - arrays and Can there be multi-dimensional variable arrays in borne shell?

Vino is rigth. You should have read the rules before posting. Instead, you took the easy way: ask before searching/reading... I understand you are new to UNIX, but are you also new to forums?

Anyway, for instance, doing a little search in google, you could have found something like: http://www.tldp.org/LDP/abs/html/arrays.html
for the bash shell...
