what 'gives' is that some sed-s don't support the full-blown regex. For example Solaris' out-of-the-box 'sed' does not support '+'.
To get around this - 'mimic' ".+' with '..*'
I am trying find files in sub dir with certain tags using tag command, and add the period to the beginning. They all returned the match:
