DESCRIPTION
Usage:
xchat [OPTION...]
Help Options:
-h, --help
Show help options
--help-all
Show all help options
--help-gtk
Show GTK+ Options
Application Options:
-a, --no-auto
Don't auto connect to servers
-d, --cfgdir=PATH
Use a different config directory
-n, --no-plugins
Don't auto load any plugins
-p, --plugindir
Show plugin auto-load directory
-u, --configdir
Show user config directory
--url=URL
Open an irc://server:port/channel URL
-c, --command=COMMAND
Execute command:
-e, --existing
Open URL or execute command in an existing XChat
--minimize=level
Begin minimized. Level 0=Normal 1=Iconified 2=Tray
-v, --version
Show version information
--display=DISPLAY
X display to use

RedHat 7.2, Gnome 1.4. tried "everything" but still can't figure out how to make cyrillic characters work normally. actually I don't care about anything other than Opera (6.01). I need it to display cyrillic normally.
If anyone knows the solution plz help.

Ive Solaris 8 x86 and i want to compile X-Chat. Ive installed glib-1.2.10-sol8-intel-local from www.sunfreeware.com.
But the configure script of XChat tells me the following:

I tried to install ispell on my suse linux 8.2 do do spell cheking for my webmail
but I issue rpm -Uvh ispell-3.2.06-266.i586.rpm
i get the following error message
