qtractor - Audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer SYNOPSIS
qtractor [options] [sessios-file] DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the qtractor command. qtractor is a MIDI/Audio multi-track sequencer application. The Jack Audio Connection Kit (JACK) for audio, and the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) for MIDI, are the main infrastructures to evolve as a fairly-featured Linux Desktop Audio Workstation GUI, especially dedicated to the personal home-studio. These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below. rosegarden [options] [File] DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the rosegarden command. rosegarden is a MIDI and audio sequencer, notation editor, and general-purpose music composition and editing application for Unix and Linux. It is a Qt application meaning you need the Qt4 libraries. However, it can be run within any desktop or window manager environment. Most options for rosegarden (such as JACK output channels) are configured through the graphical interface. OPTIONS

Qtractor running in Puppy 4 Dingo

Hi All ,anyone trying to audit Qtractor and having playback sound (jack or etc.)problems can grab a copy Puppy 4 Dingo LiveCD ,Qtractor 0.2.0 and timidity 2.13.0 install these and use timidity as the audio server.Not what I would call the most efficient installation but it works if everything else...
