SYNOPSIS
pymecavideo [{-f | --fichier_pymecavideo=} file] [{--maxi}] [{-d | --debug=} verbosity (level from 1 to 3)] [nomDeFichier.{avi|mpg|...}]
DESCRIPTION
pymecavideo is a program to track a set of moving points in a video frameset. The size of the image can be calibrated, then you track the
relevant points and export a file containing the timecode and the coordinates, to be analyzed by some other standard software.
OPTIONS -f file, --fichier_pymecavideo=file
Declares a previous snapshot file made by pymecavideo. Allows to continue just after the snapshot point.
--maxi
Use the bigger user interface.
-d level, --debug=level
Declares the level of verbosity to debug the application. This level is zero by default (no messages emitted), it can take values
between 1 and 3.
ARGUMENTS
filename.{avi|mpg|...}
Defines sone video file to begin with (optional).

Slightly off topic maybe, but maybe someone can help us. For a videoshow which will be called reality 6.1 we need a video file from a unix kernel that is compiling. Does anyone know how to capture this, or does anyone have such a vid?

Hi, I'm trying to make a video playback engine, i'm new to unix and i'm not really sure what i should do. I might have to create my own engine that will play back mpg's swf's, avi's, ect... whatever I need to play back. I'm not sure where i need to go with this. I've never programmed video with... I need a simple command line executable that allows me to convert a wmv file into an mpg file like this:
wmv2mpg inputfile.mwv > outputfile.mpg
I cannot find it on internet. I tried installing mencoder but I cannot get it to work.
