oggz-scan -- Scan an Ogg file and output characteristic landmarks
SYNOPSIS
oggz-scan [-k | --keyframe ] [-o filename | --output filename ] [-f format | --format format ] filename
oggz-scan [-h | --help ] [-v | --version ]
Description
oggz-scan scans the content of an Ogg file and outputs timestamps of characteristic features.
Options
oggz-scan accepts the following options:
Output options
-o filename, --output filename
Write output to the specified filename instead of printing it to standard output.
-f format, --format format
Write output in the specified format. Supported formats are plain, cmml, html. (Default: plain)
Feature options
-k, --keyframe
Display timestamps of unforced Theora keyframes.
Miscellaneous options
-h, --help
Display usage information and exit.
-v, --version
Output version information and exit.

oggz-codecs displays a list of codecs found in one or more Ogg files and their bitstreams. The default comma-separated output is designed
for use in an HTML5 <video> codecs attribute.
Options
oggz-codecs accepts the following options:

-a, --all Display codec names multiple times if present in multiple tracks.
-m, --mime
Display MIME types rather than codec names.
-1, --one-per-line
Display one entry per line.
Miscellaneous options
-h, --help
Display usage information and exit.
-v, --version
Output version information and exit.

I have really long script doing a lot of processing. Its printing a lot of output information on standard output .i.e screen.
Is there a way to output is passed onto a file rather then printing them on screen.

How can i scan a file in a UNIX script and look for a particular keyword?

The management is being frisky about scan rate in the range of a few thousands ( 4 digit scan rates occasionally). After much research ive concluded that its ok to have high scan rates , unless it leads to swapping/ it falls above 1:4 ratio with free rate (fr:sr)
