I am writing a shell script that needs to files that are links to on specific shell script.
e.g.
/usr/bin/a.sh
/home/mydir/a.sh --> /usr/bin/a.sh
/home/yourdir/a.sh --> /usr/bin/a.sh
/home/hisdir/a.sh --> /usr/bin/a.sh
/home/herdir/a.sh --> /usr/bin/a.sh

Not real Linux expert but here is the problem.
Shutdown this machine and then it would not reboot.
From everything I can tell it looks like the journal file in the logical volume is corrupted. I have tried everything I can think of to get the volume mounted.

In the output of TOP command in my unix system, i monitored that some process has utilization more than 100% even some process has 4000% utilisation.
Please help me understand how it is possible to show more than 100% utilization.

I've an HTML page where the pie chart is generated with google java code with the required input values in UNIX.

Here is this weird thing happening here. I mounted RHEL 6.6 DVD on a directoy /a, I am trying to copy it's content to another folder by using command:
cp -pr /a/* /new/folder
