SYNOPSIS
htproxy [OPTIONS]
DESCRIPTION
htproxy do record a HTTP session as a httest script
OPTIONS -v --version
Print version number and exit
-h --help
Display usage information (this message)
-p --port
Port
-d --dest
Destination file, default file is "file"
-u --url-filter
URL filter regex default is none (blacklist)
-l --log-level
Log level 0-4
-H --host-var
Variable name for host
-P --port-var
Variable name for port
-U --root-var
Web application root variable name
-A --host-header-var Variable name for host header value
-t --socket-tmo
Socket timeout [ms], default 30000 ms
-i --header-file
File with header text
-e --trailer-file
File with trailer text
-c --cookie-prefix
Cookie variable prefix, default is COOKIE_
-C --config
Configuration file
Example: htproxy -p 8888 -d init -H HOST -P PORT -u "(.*.png;.*$)|(.*.css;.*$)|(.*.ico;.*$)|(.*.js;.*$)"

I want to pratmeterze my scripts like,
my confRsync file contains varibale values for 1. host 2. Destination and 3. source like this, I want to read this values from this and assing to my makeRsyn.sh file's varibales.

my var is:
PATH_LOG=/opt/WebSphere/CR Comune Roma.log
a filename which contains blank chars.
How can I call it from prompt ?
Ex:
ls $PATH_LOG or
cat $PATH_LOG

How to check a given file for a string and if it's not found, exit out ofthe script?
e.g. a file Test123 is there whose header begins with #bt and trailer begins with #ed.
I have to check if the header and trailer matches as above and if not, exit out of the script.

Hi All,
In my file i need to remove header and trailer records which comes in 1st line and last line respectively. After that i need to replace '$\|' with '$#@'.
I am using sed command for this and its taking lot of time. Is there any other command which can be used to improve performance?

I have managed to do everything I need to do apart from 1 thing. I need to append a trailer record to the file. I need this line to hold the total of an entire column of the csv file (skipping the 1st line which is a header).

I have a script which creates/modifies data into a formatted csv.
The trailer record should display 2 columns, the first is a static entry of "T" to identify it as a trailer record. The 2nd is a total of amounts in a column throughout the entire file.

Header - Rec_Type|File_name|File_Date
Detail - Rec_Type|field1|field2|field3...
Trailder - Rec_Type|File_name|File_Date|Record_count
