LVM Help

Hi guys,

I have been Linux for quite a while yet, but am only getting into the LVM world just now, so I do want to ask a pretty basic question (I believe for someone with experience with it) I have a physical volume of /dev/sdc1 which contains a volume group call backup that contains 2 logical volumes /dev/backup/1 and /dev/backup2 what happened is that's a terrabyte usb drive so when I plugged it in the first time and set it all up the usb port I plugged it into the system read it as /dev/sdb1 so now when this changed to /dev/sdc1 I need to somehow update my LVM setup without losing my data. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!
