Display to PC via ssh/putty (RHE 5)
Hi all,
I just installed Red Hat Enterprise and I would like to have the KDE/GNOME windows display to my PC. When I am root (via ssh, putty) I type startx but it fails. I'm not sure what has to be configured! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

"startx" normally starts a local X server connected to the local screen. Not really what you want.
When you ssh in do the following... 1. echo $DISPLAY to confirm the X forwarding is working. 2. confirm xdm, gdm or kdm are running 3. run Xnest -query 127.0.0.1
