Java Grub Error 25

Booting Problem:
Code:
Error 25: Disk read error

25: Disk read error This error is returned if there is a disk read error when trying to probe or read data from a particular disk.
Does this meant I will have to change my hard drive with a new one or will this be resolved by formatting or wiping out hard drive contents and perform new installation?

Any Recommendation will be appreicated.

Could be either, IMO.

But try this..

Turn you rmachine off. Turn it back on with the install CD still in your cd-rom. Your are going to use the "rescue" mode to re-install GRUB.

What do you exactly mean here. BTW, I'm not using a dual boot (windows - linux), only redhat.

Use your linux install disk to reinstall grub using rescue mode. Might not have to completely reinstall.
