Can HPUX support multiple boot OS

Can HPUX support multiple boot OS
if it can , how to do it


I want to install HP UX 11iv1 and HP UX 11iv2 on different disk on a single HP UX machine
anyone can help me

Not HP-UX (thats the OS...)

You mean the hardware...

If your hardware is supported by the OS, why not? you can boot from the CD/DVD also not mentioning tape drives and network...

Yes, you may install two operating systems on two different disks.

Sure you can!

Just install 11.11 on a disk and 11.23 on a disk you have. You can boot with either of the OS release at once. However, When both are not up at the same time, All your applications needs to be on ONE which is up. So, it does not make any sense.

If you are not going to use it on production and gonna test if it works, yes, you can very well install as of there are no issues with your Hardware.
