AIX & DS4800 error
Hi people...

i have a problem with a DS4800 san... it keeps me showing this message (on picture) and i dont know how to solve it!

someone knows?

For load balancing, equal LUNs assignment on both the controller of storage are preferred. The storage manager client has detected imbalance it . For balancing act it is suggesting different controller path but your LUNs are assigned to different controller path.

Nothing to worry just follows the instruction of recovery guru. This happens in complex SAN environment if any of the servers reboot.

To put LUN back on preferred controller, right-click on the LUN, select Change, Ownership/Preferred Path, then select the Controller you want to move to which will have "preferred" in brackets after the controller name.
This can be done online.
