I have not worked on HACMP 4.4 but 4.5 onwards ... smitty hacmp should give you some menus where you can add nodes to an existing cluster.

Are you doing a fresh install ? I thought you wanted to add a node to an existing cluster.

To add a node to a cluster ,

Install HACMP software on the node
startsrc -s clcomdES
From one of the existing node, do smitty hacmp and define the node.

Configure the resource group accordingly.

Kaps

Hi,
I think you must read the redbook about HACMP first,it is a right way.
