Memory issue

I have a server with 300Gb allocated to it. Some times I observed in topas
Comp% 73 and Non comp 35% and client is also 35% and my paging is showing 92%. If my physical memory utilized only 70% then why paging is so high.
And what is relation between Comp, noncomp and client? If the memory utilization is as above how much free memory is there in my server at that particular time? When I observe above my oracle database is working but application is slow.

Without additional data it is hard to suggest.

Different AIX-versions (especially 4.x to 5.x but others too) have different ways of memory management. Tell us your OS version as detailed as possible.

Please show the output of (taken at - roughly - the same moment):

You mentioned a running Oracle database: how big is your SGA or - if you run several instances - each SGA respectively? Which version of Oracle are you running?
