HA does not care if an interface is virtual eg,, from PHYP, or a normal port, or virtualized as an etherchannel. SO, basically, if you can imagine it, HA should support it.
YOu just need to be sure that the correct policy is specified to spread the service addresses over as many interfaces as possible.
By the way, when assigning physical adapters, rather than SEA, it is still expected that you have two adapters with an address From memory, the only supported single port configuration is when the vethernet adapter is supported by dual VIOS and SEA failover.
