Renaming file and check for the renamed file existence
Hi
Am trying to move a file from one name to another
When I do "ls" to check for the moved filename
I can see the file but when I try the same with a script am unable..
I think am doing some pretty silly error.. please help..
Here the value toFind returns a FAIL state..

I would like to check the existence of files (doesn;t matter the number of files) in a directory.
My file is named in the following manner (always ending with " myfile "). Can anybody give me some guidance?

SYNOPSIS
script [-a] [filename]
DESCRIPTION
The script utility makes a record of everything printed on your screen. The record is written to filename. If no file name is given, the
record is saved in the file typescript. See WARNINGS.
The script command forks and creates a sub-shell, according to the value of $SHELL, and records the text from this session. The script ends
when the forked shell exits or when Control-d is typed.
OPTIONS
The following option is supported:
-a Appends the session record to filename, rather than overwriting it.
NOTES
script places everything that appears on the screen in filename, including prompts.
