I was working with my data (a tab delimted text file) in Linux and wanted to replace all "NaN" values in my huge table with "NA", so i used the following sed command:
The results were good, all "NaN" were replaced with "NA", but the new output file had no headers no column names anymore!
Example:
Before:
After:
Any idea what happened? what is the right command to use here?
Hi all,

Hey everyone! I'm trying to retrieve old files from my Xenix computers. So the option I've now come down to is to load up a second harddrive and do a doscp of my tar'd backup file. Now, How do I go about this? I am not a unix user myself so I'm not quite sure. I need help! I have a VERY short... (1 Reply)

If "photopia.dat" is a game. To play it, you would normally type "frotz photopia.dat" (assuming you are in the directory where photopia.dat resides).
But what if I'm in my home directory, photopia.dat is in the "games" directory, and I want to play it without switching directories? What command... (2 Replies)
I'd like to capture the audio playing in itunes (OSX) to a file (from the command line).
I currently use Wiretap Pro, but i'd like a non-gui. I tried installing sox, but after installing about 40-50 dependencies it crashed out. I do have ffmpeg working and I am pretty sure it can capture what's... (0 Replies)

ctanh -- complex hyperbolic tangent function
SYNOPSIS
double complex
ctanh(double complex z);
long double complex
ctanhl(long double complex z);
float complex
ctanhf(float complex z);
DESCRIPTION
ctanh(z) computes the hyperbolic tangent of the complex floating-point number z.
For all complex floating point numbers z,
ctanh(conj(z)) = conj(ctanh(z)),
ctanh(-z) = -ctanh(z).
SPECIAL VALUES
The symmetries of ctanh() are used to abbreviate the specification of special values.
ctanh(0 + 0i) returns 0 + 0i.
ctanh(0 + inf i) returns NaN + NaN i, and raises the invalid flag.
ctanh(0 + NaN i) returns NaN + NaN i.
ctanh(x + inf i) returns NaN + NaN i, and raises the invalid flag, for finite nonzero x.
ctanh(x + NaN i) returns NaN + NaN i, for finite nonzero x.
ctanh(inf + 0i) returns 1 + 0i.
ctanh(inf + yi) returns 1 +- 0i, for finite positive y, with the sign chosen to match the sign of sin(2y).
ctanh(inf + inf i) returns 1 + 0i.
ctanh(inf + NaN i) returns 1 + 0i.
ctanh(NaN + 0i) returns NaN + 0i.
ctanh(NaN + yi) returns NaN + NaN i, for nonzero numbers y.
ctanh(NaN + NaN i) returns NaN + NaN i.

The ctanh() function conforms to ISO/IEC 9899:2011.
