Thankyou for that information. Here is a list of log files that i added

How can i find out which process has a handle open to that log file? If i can find out which deamon uses which log I can at least research into what the mechanism might be for each one?

I have below script in logrotate.d to rotate logs.
logs are not rotating after the file grow to 1k, do you have any idea? Is it because of it just only 1K?

DESCRIPTION
Supported options:
--version
-h, --help
command can be one of the following:
truncate
-c file, --config-file=file

Truncates the log. Sets the new logs version number for the to the last entry of the old log. If the log is truncted by emptying
the file, the log will start over at the first version (0).
dump

replay

start replay with this version
