My SA says he could install Expect/TCL on our development box, but would not be able to justify the install on our UAT & PROD servers. Providing a "convenience" to folks to synchronize passwords would not be considered justification to install software.... (And I have an extremely cooperative SA!).

Our technical organization recently merged with another "sister" technical group and their procedures are being inflicted on the rest of us. Also the auditors have been having a field day...hence the implementation of pasword rules, use of sudo, restrictions on FTP only accts, etc. etc.

NAME

       install-solaris - install the Solaris operating system

SYNOPSIS

       install-solaris

       install-solaris  invokes  the  Solaris  Install  program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation,
       install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.

       The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation:

       For SPARC machines:

       128 MB

           Minimum physical memory for all installation types

       128 MB

           Minimum physical memory required for windowing system

       384 MB

           Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation

       For x86 machines:
