intltoolize - prepare a package to use intltool
SYNOPSIS
intltoolize [ --automake ] [ -c|--copy ] [ --debug ] [ -n|--dry-run ] [ -f|--force ] [ --help ] [ --version ]
DESCRIPTION
This prepares a package to use intltool by linking or copying various files needed by intltool into place for use when building. Note that
you must change your working directory to the top level directory of the package before running intltoolize.
OPTIONS --automake
Work silently and assume that automake is being used.
-c, --copy
Copy files rather than symlinking to them.
--debug
Enable verbose shell tracing.
-n, --dry-run
Print commands rather then executing them.
-f, --force
Replace existing files if they exist.
--help Show usage and basic help information.
--version
Show version information.

intltool-extract - generate header files which can be read by gettext
SYNOPSIS
intltool-extract [ --ini-style ] [ -X|--verbose ] [ -H|--help ] [ -V|--version ] [ --xml-style ] [ --scheme-style ] BLAH
DESCRIPTION
This generates header files from the strings in the specified input files which gettext can use to merge strings into the pot file.
OPTIONS --ini-style
File is of type gettext/ini.
-X, --verbose
Be verbose to give the user additional feedback.
-H, --help
Show usage and basic help information.
-V, --version
Show version information.
-O, --xml-style
File is of type gettext/xml.
-O, --scheme-style
File is of type gettext/scheme.

on machine automake 1.9 are install but i am not able create make file
so please tell me what proper command to create make file using automake (1 Reply)
helo , i m using RHEL 4 and in that automake -2.59
now i install automake-2.61
but when i say # rpm -qa |grep automake
it shows only automake-2.59
actually i want to use automake-2.61
so how to resolve this issue

Hi,
I am using scp to copy a certain directory over the network. This folder contain some files that I am not interested in. My question is; is it possible to copy files of certain extension only, keeping the same directory hierarchy as it is (that is sub-folders)?
