UNIX.com,ITRC, and redhat knowledgebase. Although I now work in a Solaris/linux shop. So the ITRC is not quite what it used to be for me.
In general it is the most responsive community I have seen. This one being my favorite of course.

hi everyone!

i've previously participated at the daniweb forums site and a few others. refreshing to find a forum where there is no windows topics/focus at all! i do keep atop of the securityfocus.com site although technically it is more of a mailing-list. great site you have here by the way : )

I'm a member of three tech forums. The other two are: LinuxQuestions.org and Ubuntu Forums . All three have excellent information, good moderators and super feedback.

Actively watching for running processes

Here's a fun one... What's the best way to script looking for a process when it runs? For example, what if a process is running that's been set up graphically, which you would like the entire command line string for? Say it's rpm for the sake of having a command to use as an example.
