Black Raven Patreon Tier

Dear All,

We have received a number of requests in the past year from members who want to send PMs to ask questions because they prefer to ask questions confidentially. Their reasons for this confidentially have primarily been:
  • They want to include company specific information which needs to be confidential.
  • They want to learn basic UNIX and Linux but are too shy or embarrassed to post in the main forums.
  • They simply would like to have more personal, confidential technical support.

We do not permit technical questions via Private Messaging or Email at UNIX.COM, but because of the requests mentioned above, I am pleased to make this new Patreon sponsorship tier available, called Black Raven, with these benefits:
  • You will receive a Black Raven Badge at UNIX.COM.
  • Your user title will be changed to Black Raven.
  • You will also have a Black Patreon Sponsor Badge.
  • You are eligible to request and use your personal UNIX.COM email address.
  • You will receive your own personal, private forum to ask questions, confidentially, to forum moderators.
  • Your username and link to your profile will be put at the top of our special Patreon sponsors page.
