OK... I (Neo, posting as a test user) disabled the "click and switch" feature and cleared the cache.

You might have to close and restart your browser to flush your local cache as well.

Whew! You had me worried. I thought you must have had a completely different way of copying text than I am used to using... Smilie

I'm used to single clicking to select a range of text, double clicking to select a word, and triple clicking to select a line. But the "clicking" in each of those switches views and deselects any selection I had made.

I have now found that if I select any text in a CODE tagged block (when line numbers are not showing) and then use command-C to copy, I can get a copy of the entire text of that message, but that makes for a lot of unwanted editing. And, I have found that (if I am a contortionist), I can partially select text (highlight it, but don't release the mouse-pad) and use command-C before releasing the mouse-pad, I can copy what I want into the clip board; but it is not convenient and is not intuitive

Where do I find the "click and switch" feature so I can disable it?

I disabled it already. On some pages, there are some caching issues. If you encounter an issue, just edit and resave the page, and all will be OK.

I disable it and cleared the cache, but on some pages, for some unknown reason, to get totally rid of it, I found I have to click "edit" and then "save" but I don't understand why (yet).

Will need to create a new way to switch back and forth instead of "on mouse click".

Update: Seems OK. It's totally disabled (on desktop browsers) I think.

On mobile, I'm running the new code, but not switching at the moment (until I get some other way to switch, like moving the mouse click to the "Code:" label, etc)

OK. (When I last posted, it seemed that there was no option and "click" always switched views.) It is working as I expected now. Thanks.
