Looking for a Training Collar for My Dog

I have 2-year old Rottweiler and he's been uncontrollable lately and I'm thinking of giving him a training collar. What do you think about it?

Get a Gentle Leader.

I think a gentle leather will do for gentle dogs, but mine is a Rottweiler and pretty aggressive. I'm looking for a more higher device for training though.

I've seen a training collar turn a dog vicious. I walk to work every day and used to pass a barky dog. Then one day it had a training collar.

For a day or two it was yip-whimper, yip-whimper, quieter and quieter. About the time I learned to avoid that street, he stopped barking.

Now that the training collar is off, that dog doesn't bark at me any more. No sir. He snarls viciously, teeth out, hackles up, because every time he saw me he felt pain. It didn't teach him to fear barking, it taught him to fear me.
