I don't understand this reply. Sorry.

Who is "their" in your reply? Google?

Correct. I can spot their flaw and I see users sticking with FB unless feature wise it's irresistible not to make the switch.

No argument there

Font size and layout waste a lot of screen, though I suppose clean looks is a google brand image (you have now idea how much I hate that phrase), but that could change as more data arrives to fill up the emptiness Smilie. I like the circles concept and when they publish the API I'd like to write a script that turned my niece's continuous outpourings into a daily digest. As for VampireFarmWarKisses as soon as the API is published that useful content will arrive

It was I who added "don't care" to the poll.

The arrogance of this company is breathtaking. ROFL.

"Thanks for waiting!" What a brilliant and seemingly transparent way to abuse your monopoly on search.

Thanks Google, for yet again experimenting on us!

Whatever happened to Buzz, Voice, Books, Music, TV .... Nice of you to release + in beta.

Hmm.

Some updates, though very personal: I barely have 8 people in my "circles" and none of them seem to be using the Plus exhaustively ...
I certainly can't tell that this is global trend, as I see some millions of users reported, but I was wondering whether you are seeing the same.

I still can't find that useful bits and pieces that will get me out of Twitter (I'm ready to accept critics on my usage of that social network, in fact, I've been receiving many negative comments about it, for some reason Smilie )

I could see Facebook failing from silly changes they keep making. They seem to think people are getting bored to fast, when I think they have become quite comfortable with the way it was. If Google+ just sticks with a simple layout that people can easily use, people may switch. I haven't yet, only cause I barely use facebook as it is, I don't need another anti social website to join.

I've shied away from Facebook due to the nonstop privacy problem outcries. That they don't even have the ability to delete anything is worrying and absurd. Their silent watching of their users via persistent cookies that are never deleted, even on logout, is another minus. And there's far too many stupid logic puzzles in setting up the privacy settings -- they didn't have to make it that hard. I can't help but suspect it's intentional, to extract maximum information from users who don't know better by design.

I don't like the idea of social networking sites. You seem to need to vigilantly watch these things. It becomes just another 'job' my information space requires me to perform when computers are supposed to be working for me. They also seem filled with so much useless frippery (farmville, et al) it's hard to take any of it seriously -- except in the ways they threaten you, of course.

If I ever find a use for social networking sites I might try google+. Until then I don't see any pressing reason to use any of them.
