Unix administrator, sometimes they call us unix engineer so they can charge the customers more $$$$$$$ but otherwise yeah I manage unix boxes for a living and have done so since 92. I was with the services teams for a few years running projects but my calling is to be a sysadmin so I think that's probably what I'll do until they put me into the ground ... kekeke

At one time I used do only sun but these days it's not enough so one needs to be versatile so now I'm also supporting hpux and other os.

Partially retired now but hardware and software support for 48 years (35 as independent), SCO unix support since 1991, building or rebuilding boxes and adminstering them for customers.

if it's about AIX in my (huge global) company, than it ends up sooner or later with me ... My role is probably closest to System Administrator with extended functionality ...

Student at the moment, but I've been a UNIX enthusiast for several years, here's hoping I can someday use UNIX full time for a living.

I'm still a high-school student. I've been into serious web development up until now. I've got my foot wet with C/C++ programming, and I'd now like to try UNIX.
