hi.. great to know I found a network programmer. Can you give some bits of details about the work thats involved in network programming and what are the APIs,interfaces,softwares(if server ones) have you dealt with. ?

Unix/Linux System Administrator working with Sco Unix and Linux Redhat Enterprise 5. Work with a 4 member team that maintain 80 servers across the USA and Mexico that run labs that manufacture eyeglasses.

Linux (RHEL), Vmware (ESX), and Windows Administrator currently in the Healthcare industry.

~ 1500 servers right now

There is a Unix team here as well but I dont' know how many servers they manage.

Starting over, making a living with linux?

I really like to use linux, although I freely admit I don't know squat about it. I can install it, update it and get it to most of what I would like it to do, up to running some windows apps on it. I am going back so to school starting on the 25th, with a declared major of Information... (1 Reply)
