Helpful Tip: Forcing Google to www.google.com

Helpful Tip!

Sometimes when we are in another country, Google redirects our request for
Code:
www.google.com

to:
Code:
www.google.co.in

or to:
Code:
www.google.co.th

If you want to force Google to go to the US site, use:

Code:
www.google.com/webhp

# 2
Old 12-26-2008
Code:
www.google.com/ncr

Will also take you to the US site and set the cookie to prevent local country selection on future visits.
