Delete files by date
Hi,

Can anyone help me delete old files in a directory? Let's say, I want to delete all files which are 365 days old. Thank you.

It depends what you call 365 days old.

Code:
find <dir> -type f -mtime +365 -exec rm {} \;

Make sure mtime is what you mean by how old a file is, atime or ctime might be what you want. See this article written by Perderabo to make sure you choose the correct option.

go to that particular directory where your files reside.

ls -lart | grep 'Dec 24' | awk {' print $5'} | xargs rm
