Your system is having a video card not supported in the RHL distro you've been using.

Post with more info on the card you are using.

Hi, I got these informations here, hope they can help.

piii 450 \ Video Card tnt2 vanta 8M \ Memory 256m \ Samsung 550b \ Motherboard 440bx \yamaha724 \ maxtor 5200 40G + 8.4G \ ps/2 2 key mouse

After it showed the error message, it stuck there. I have to restart the machine, again.

In RHL 7.3, 8.0 installation screens (both gui and text mode) there will be two screens, one for configuring the video card and the next for configuring your monitor.. these screens will consists of a list of supported cards and monitors...

Please look at the installation documentation chapter 3...

here is what I found from the above link...

"If your video card does not appear on the list (see Figure 3-31), X may not support it. However, if you have technical knowledge about your card, you may choose Unlisted Card and attempt to configure it by matching your card's video chipset with one of the available X servers. "

also the next page which follows is for monitor configuration...

I installed RHL 7.3 , 8.0 on my HP pavilion machines, the video card (ATI Radeon Mobility) and monitor was automatically probed as they were supported/listed...

problems with my M3 video card and my Tatung Ultra 10 clone

i took this Elite 3D M3 video card out of my Ultra 60 machine which was replaced with an M6. the card was working w/o issue in the Ultra 60. however, i'm getting no video when i power the Tatung machine. yes, the M3 is does work with an AXi motherboard. any ideas what's causing the problem?
