amicrawler2000,

The Solaris Operating Environment for x86 can be downloaded for $20 at Sun's website:

http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris/binaries/get.html

The media kit costs more.

The download is bearable if you have a high-speed Internet connection.

To download Lindows from the lindows.com site, it'll cost you a (last time I checked - it may have gone up) $99 one-year subscription.

I am not a laywer, but according to the GPL that it's licensed under, you cannot stop someone from redistributing it, so you may find someone else with it up for download - use at your own risk though, just like any other download.
