It's quite simple don't!!! Smilie

Linux doesn't require defragmentation like windows does. Read up on the different file systems to get a better understanding of why.

i think you can use fsck... but i don't know if that exactly defrags vs. repairing inconsistancies...

fsck does not defragment... it repairs errors similar to what scandisk does with MS products.
