Question Mail question?

Hi, all,

I use mail to send a file to my email account as follow:

mail -v < /user/text

however, I received is a blank email without any content in it. How can I set up config correctly in the Solaris box? Any suggests so can send the whole text? Thank you in advance!

I'll bite. Does the file have text in it?

I would use mailx. or ftp if you have it.

mailx -s "Put subject here" < /path/to/file

This works for text files.

Thank you Kelam. The mailx -s user@address works great.
