Dual booted RHL 7.3 with Win XP..

Hello all,

I'm a no Linux expert!

But I perfectly dual booted Win XP with RHL 7.3 on a hp pavilion notebook (model ze5170). All working fantastic now.

But I have a minor problem now. I can't get RHL probe the modem, so could not get the internet connection working. The modem is a Conexant 56K.

Did anyone face and solve this situation? If so please guide me.

Thank you,
Vishnu.

Computer

One way to solve this problem is to go to www.redhat.com and search for the hardware compartable list. There is a list with all the modems Linux 7.3 supports.

I checked this list before building a test workstation for Linux 7.3 and the OS simply configured herself.
