problem with admintool
hi, after i execute admintool, i got the below
"Error, cant open display"

what is wrong?

The GUI of admintool does not have right to open a display.
You can fix this by typing `xhosts +` on the console window.

OR you are not working in a grafical interface at all, then admintool can not start.

hi, i am using netterm to telnet to the server.
i cant issue xhosts + on my client side, right?

Telnet is not a graphical mode, so the admintool can't start

sob... how about sun equal to topas or glance
hi, like hpux has glance, ibm aix has topas, so does sun has an equivalent? thanks

and can we use xwindow to telnet too?

As far i remember SUN does not support a non-grafical admintool like HP's 'sam' and IBM's 'smit'.
