run a script with another user id

Hi,

I have a script A.run which will call B.run.
How can i run B.run with a common id instead of using my login id?

I have tried as below, in Script A.run :
.........
echo "Running B.run......"
rsh -l commonid hostname B.run
.........

but it's give me "Permission Denied".......

Please help.......

Hi,
You can use either suid bit, or sudo command ples refer to the following thread:

Thanks for ur info... omran....

What i mean is B.run MUST run using one id.......

(this is because of the licensing and performance issue......
only running B.run with a single id can improve it's performance....
that's y I'm thinking on using rsh command.....)

I'm trying to use su command as well......
It's work with password prompted for that single id.

Is there any other ways to calling B.run with a single id instead of using the login id?

or

How to make su command not prompt for password?

as the man said. set the Suid bit on the file and it will execute as that user.
