How do I create a new Disk partition in HP-unix machine???

HP-UX 10.2 and greater uses a Logical Volume Manager to handle disks. The easiest way to create new volume groups, logical volumes, and filesystems is to do so through the GUI 'sam' utility. You should run this as root.
