Sco Unix 5

The retail system our company uses runs on Sco Openserver 5. I wish to install it at home so I can gain some experience with unix. Does anyone know (before I install it) is sco unix comes with a boot loader.
When I installed mandrake linux on the same machine as win xp the boot loader wouldn't allow me access windows xp. I can't afford for that to happen here.

Secondly is there any particular site on the net deidicated to sco unix that I can start learning from.

For the second part of your post, search google.com for sco unix.
Two sites I have found:

Offical SCO support which I have little admiration for but sometimes can find answers to questions

PCUnix.com's SCO FAQ which has helped quite a bit.

There isn't much out there (although I haven't looked for a few months).

I think SCO does not have a bootloader as winxp. It just like the lilo in linux.

You can input "bootos number"(which partion other operationg system in) after boot:

Re: Sco Unix 5

Hi,

I am new to Unix, so you may find my reply as stupid.

I am working in an Audiotext company. I have 4 Unix Sco servers, open server release 5. You are saying you want the OS installed at your home to work with it. As far as I know, the license costs 1000 USD, for 5 users.

I don't think it is like downloading oir getting for example Redhat linux for free.

Am I right? or did you meant something else.
