'more' error messages

I am receiving the error message when I more to a linked file.
filename: Too many levels of symbolic links

It is a linked file to one directory up.

The other error message I get is when I more to a linked, hidden file.

filename: No such file or directory

Can the more command not see linked files?

More should handle it with no problem. Post the output of ls -l on the file and ls -l on the link.

try to these commands too, may be they will help:

$cat <yourfile> | more
or
$page <yourfile>

By the way, try to add ./ before <yourfile>
