UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

Hi ,

I am currently using Source Code Control System (SCCS) to keep track of my documents.

There are several User that update the document.
As we all know that after editing it prompts for the comment.
But even if somebody just hits return it accepts it.

I would like that after the document in SCCS has been edited and we get a prompt to comment, this prompt should not accept just hitting of return.

It should be Mandatory for the person who edited the document to actually enter the updation comment. Or more better even it should prompt for the name of the person( and wouldn't proceed until something was entered).

I am sure it is possible but don't know what command to use and how to go about it.

Can someone kindly help me.
