ExporT Command Not found

Hi All
I am getting and error export command not found

What can be the possible reasons for this and how do we verify those


Please help me

Not all shells suport the export builtin. The Bourne shell (and Bourne like, like Bash) and Korn, for example, support this builtin. But other shells may not support it. The csh (C Shell) is an example of a shell that does not support the export builtin.
