SCP using a dsa key
Hello all,
My first post in this forum.
I am trying to download a file from a server to which I have been granted access. They setup a DSA public key and I have a local private key.

When i try to download the file it prompts me for my password.

How can I tell unix to use the DSA key rather than password when I am attempting to download the file?

Any and all help i GREATLY appreciated.

Their public key doesn't matter for you if you just want to get some files from them.
When creating your key, you may not enter a password/pass-phrase. Let your public key be added to the machine's/user's authorized_keys file so it can allow your box to connect via ssh without pw.
