listing of directories with / at end...without ls -F

Hi
When im listing (ls -al ) its listing directories without / at the end of directories

dir1 dir2 dir3

and i need to list directories with

dir1/ dir2/ dir3/ and this should not be made by command ls -F

/ should be embedded at the last

since one of the scripts reads directories with / at end ..i need to solve the problem

Use the p switch

Code:
ls -alp

This will list directories with a suffix "/"

this will just list with /

but will not change the directories and attaching / at the end

next time when you view using ls command ....they will be like ordinary directories

so more suggestion pls

You can alias ls='ls -p' but you should probably fix those scripts instead.

alias wont work for other users

Smilie cant it done by search and replace options.......alias...will work only my view

is some of my team mates are logging ..and they are seeing the directory structure..it wont be same.... so everyone has ..to do an alias....( which not opted way)

sed...
using sed command can directory structure can it be replaced ...

so any other.......way

best regards
