Help! scrolling numbers and letters

Hello all I am a unix newbie....

I have a sun netra t1 and it is freaking out
I am connected to it through a console port, and it is just spitting out a ton on numbers and letters like below its just keeps going and going.
I have tried rebooting it and I cannot get it back to any kind of a prompt when it boots up it immediatly goes into the scrolling.
I have tried doing a stop a; ctrl break etc to get to an ok prompt but no luck.

Any suggestions???

Are you physically connected to console or going through some type of console manager?
(Physically connected - remove child/cat from keyboard)
(Console manager - check/restart )

You might also want to post if this is a new (new or new to you) machine - or if it's been working fine until this 'fun' started.
