Clock in Unix using awk

Hey everyone! Can someone help me, i need to make a program using awk, that displays the current time (hh/mm/ss), i would really apreciate it! Thanks!

Looks like a homework problem.

Have you tried date, though?

It is a homework problem Smilie. The thing is we only started learning UNIX this semester, and i really have trouble learning it. Could you please send me the source code for the problem? i'm really need this done by tomorow Smilie... Thanks in advance!
